Fixes words automatically
After a space, Enter, Tab or punctuation Mova checks the word. If it only makes sense in the other layout, Mova erases it and types it right, together with the short words before it: «yf cmjujlys» becomes «на сьогодні».

Stop thinking about layouts
Mova only looks at the word you just typed, and steps in only when it is sure.
Fixes on demand
Press ⌃ and ⌥ together: Mova fixes the word you are typing, or the last one. Any length.
Easy to undo
The same hotkey within 3 seconds puts the word back and remembers it, so Mova leaves it alone from then on.
Understands unknown words
The macOS dictionary, rules for impossible letter combinations and letter-pair statistics for names and jargon. Doubtful words stay as they are.
Stays out of the way
Terminals, code editors, remote desktops and virtual machines are excluded by default. Password fields are never touched.
Updates itself
Checks for a new version once a day and shows it in the menu. The update window opens only when you click.

What you type stays on your Mac
Mova sees your keyboard, so privacy is not a detail.
- Nothing you type is sent anywhere or stored: only the current and the last word are kept in memory.
- In password fields (secure input) Mova sees no keys at all.
- The network is used only for updates and, once a day, for the license: the key and an anonymous Mac hash. No analytics, no accounts.
- Builds are Developer ID signed and notarized by Apple; updates are EdDSA-signed.

Mova needs two macOS permissions; without them it sees nothing and changes nothing.

Questions
Mova doesn't fix anything. What should I check?
Open the Mova menu: the status line should say it is listening, with two permission ticks. Also check that auto-switching is on and the app is not in the exclusion list.
Mova fixed a word I meant to keep.
Press ⌃⌥ right away: the word comes back and won't be fixed automatically again.
Mova didn't fix a word.
Press ⌃⌥ to fix it by hand. If the word comes up often, add it to the always-switch list.
Which layouts do I need?
English and Ukrainian layouts enabled in macOS, for example U.S. and Ukrainian-PC. Mova leaves other layouts alone.
Does it work in terminals and code editors?
Not automatically: ordinary text there often looks like a typo. The hotkey works everywhere, and the exclusion list is yours to edit.
How do I uninstall Mova?
Quit it from the menu and move Mova from Applications to the Trash. Settings live in ~/Library/Application Support/Mova/.

What happens after the trial?

Once a day Mova confirms the license. Without a connection a licensed Mova keeps working for up to 30 days. What you type is never sent.
How do I move my license to a new Mac?
Activate the key on the new Mac. If there are no free seats, click Settings → License → Deactivate on the old one, or just wait: a Mac silent for 30 days frees its seat.
How do I get a refund?
Within 14 days of payment write to support@yuri-val.dev from the address you bought with. The money goes back to your card and the key is revoked.
